OUR BOWLING CLUB

We are primarily a lawn green bowling club, with an outdoor bowling green and a clubhouse complete with lounge bar, kitchen and changing rooms. We also have two mats for indoor short mat bowling in the clubhouse during the winter season.

​Founded in 1999, the green and clubhouse opened in 2005 and is open to both men and lady bowlers, inclusive of juniors, with current membership in excess of 100. Our members play in Club, County & National matches and competitions, as well as indoor short mat club and county league matches during the winter. Throughout the year we also organise numerous social events to provide fun and entertainment for our members.

New members are always welcome so why not pop down and see us? Monday and Friday evenings are roll up nights in the summer and there will always be somebody on hand to show you how to play, with spare bowls available at the clubhouse. We have a number of qualified coaches available to provide coaching for both new bowlers and those who may need to brush up on their skills, so feel free to visit or contact us or email Club Secretary Nicky Harvey secretary secretarybcbc@outlook.com.
